Secure Lock Systems

The Shut-Lok concept is a true British success story, one of a tightly knit team of designers and engineers whose intention was to design the most secure locks available for a wide range of applications and bring them to market.  The result is Shut-Lok – an alternative to existing multi purpose locking systems which offers a wide range of advantages.  For example:

• Shut-Lok’s low profile secure-lock design makes it impervious to leverage-type tools such as crowbars.  This is one of the main vulnerabilities of traditional padlocks.  It also means no protruding hasps or rings are left sticking out when the lock is opened.
• Shut-Lok can be easily retro fitted to most roller shutters, security posts, container and garage doors, utilities and telecom boxes, lockers and filing cabinets, and many other fixtures which require secure lock systems.
• Even the most secure locks can be vulnerable when in the open position.  Shut-Lok allows you to keep the lock barrel with you when not in use, to prevent tampering.

The latest application of the Shut-Lok design is Gun-Lok, a product which promotes responsible firearms ownership by discreetly allowing shotguns to be secured against unauthorised use.

This is achieved by the use of secure locks conforming to the shape and dimensions of standard shotgun cartridges.  A secure lock is inserted into the breech of the firearm and locked in place, after which the gun cannot be loaded until it is unlocked with the matching key.  In a global climate where gun control is a sensitive subject, owners and gun clubs can demonstrate their commitment to safety by employing the most secure locks available to prevent unapproved use of their guns.
